MMA Gospel Radio comes back after the big 50th episode with two great guests. Jake Rosholt joins us to talk about his injury and what the future holds for him. Then “The Reverend of MMA” Turk Vangel and Gary Friedman talk Strikeforce including the legacy of Fedor, Jan Finney vs Cyborg and much more. We finish up the show with a man who has been on the inside of MMA for a quite some time. Keith Evans is the former Director of Information Technology for the UFC, former VP of Operations for the International Fight League and current President and co-founder of the Take Down Sports Network.

The California Amateur Martial Arts Organization (CAMO) was voted to be the governing body for amateur MMA in California by the California State Athletic Commission. Prior to this vote amateur MMA was basically illegal and the only events were “smokers” held at gyms. CAMO’s policies and fees are essentially putting an end to something that never truly existed in the state and is forcing young fighters to go pro well before they are ready.
